Frode Gjerløw wrote, directed and designed this anti-colonial adventure about three conquistadors who lost their shadow when they "found" gold in the jungle.
In the show, they learn how to get their shadows back by being honest about how they acquired their riches.
The play was nominated for best children's play, at the Norways national theatre awards: the Hedda-awards. This was Frodes first Hedda-nomination.
The show will tour again, in loving memory of Paul Viken Bakke, who played Sir Øst in the show's first season.

Hope and The Horsey is a live comedy show directed by Arvid Ones, that premiered at Ole Bull Theatre in Bergen, 06.02.2020. Christine Hope is one of Norway's top female comedians, and in this hilarious feminist romp, she shares the stage with Frode Gjerløw.
Through february '20 it played for more than 8000 people, but on March 12th it was postponed due to Covid-19, with three weeks of performances in June, July and August 2020

Written, directed and produced by Frode Gjerløw, The Dam is an experimental cross-arts storytelling project, merging tapestry poetry and dance.
The film has been screened at festivals in Africa, Europe and around the UK.
I am currently interested in hearing from producers who might be interested in taking on a live version of the project.
